Biography
Two demanding professions, one continuous education
I've built a career at the intersection of law and medicine, and a life around travel, teaching, technology, and the outdoors. This is the longer version of that story.

Core Values
Curiosity
Learn continuously and never outsource understanding.
Service
Both professions exist to help people in hard moments.
Precision
Details decide outcomes in medicine and in law.
Adventure
The best perspective is earned outdoors.
Personal philosophy
Careers are not ladders — they're maps. Nursing taught me to act decisively with incomplete information. Law taught me to build an argument that survives scrutiny. Travel taught me that expertise is portable and humility is required. Teaching keeps all of it honest: if I can't explain it simply, I don't understand it yet.
